High Blood Sugar

Do you have trouble keeping your blood sugar balanced?
Pre-Disposing Factors of high blood sugar:
1. Overweight
2. Lack of exercise
3. Genetics
4. Trace mineral deficiency
5. Adrenal, Pancreas, Thyroid, Pituitary and/or Liver Dysfunction
6. Carbohydrate sensitivity
7. Elevated triglycerides
Consider the following foods and supplements for support:
Diet:
1. Fiber: vegetables, minimal fruit (berries), beans
2. Protein: chicken, meat, turkey, soy, raw nuts, fish. Fish oils are very beneficial!!
3. Eliminate dairy, caffeine, alcohol, wheat and gluten.
4. Limit carbohydrates and fruit juices
Supplements/Herbs:
Vanadium, Chromium, Zinc, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E, Magnesium,
Vitamin C, Fenugreek, Gymnema sylvestre, Niacin, Bitter melon,
EPA/DHA
Tests to consider:
Fasting glucose, Insulin, Fructosamine, Hemoglobin A1C,
Lipid Panel, ION panel and ASI
